- Hi, my name is Amy I have lived in Louisiana my entire life and have been in the cosmetology business for over 20 years. I have always had a love for fashion, makeup, hair and traveling which in a way is what led to me starting this blog. I've also always had a love for writing and reading. I have a great husband and 2 children in college and 1 just starting high school. 1 son and 2 daughters. My dad, who I was very close to, passed away one year ago this month and I've sort of been at a loss for a year so my son has trying to get me to start this! He says nothing suits me better than writing about fashion and girl stuff all day! LOL So, here we go! My husband is John and we've been married 24 years, my oldest is my son, Clay, he is 20 and a senior at Louisiana Tech University studying Finance. My oldest daughter is Gracie Claire and she is starting Louisiana Tech this fall and plans to major in marketing also (they are following in their Dad's footsteps) and my youngest daughter is Camille, she will begin her freshman year of high school this fall.
